SIGNED BY GABOR. 1954 stated first edition, hardcover with dust jacket. Unmarked pages and firm binding. Jacket is shelf-rubbed and has chipped at its edges [please see pictures for context]. Otherwise a clean, tight, well-preserved copy. Signed by Gabor on front end paper. Additionally signed by one “Marc Alstadter”, the previous owner, on a pasted in bookplate. A scarce first edition made all the more enticing by Gabor’s signature. “Eva, the beauteous junior parner in one of the world’s most publicized sister acts – the Gorgeous Gabors – has decided that it is high time to puncture some of the hot-air bubbles that have been bobbing rosily around her head ever since she and glamour discovered each other. It takes a wild and particularly Hungarian kind of courage to break through the Mink Curtain and reveal onself as a shrewd and determined, albeit ravishing, professional.” (from the jacket).
