Very scarce book charting the work of acclaimed post-war Japanese photographer from 1949 to 1974. Signed with brush by photographer. Known especially for his soft-focused sensual portraits of women and female nudes, Shotaro Akiyama (1920-2003) was one of the most renowned Japanese photographers of the second half of the twentieth century. Minor signs of shelfwear and use, inner spine splitting in places, otherwise a good copy. Text in Japanese.
