Small 4to. Ex library, with stamps on recto and verso of title page and rear pastedown. Limited edition: 268/350. Front board slightly bowed, DJ price-clipped and very slightly chipped at extremities. Forward by famous watercolorist and illustrator William Russell Flint. Charles Knight (1901-1993), not to be confused with the dinosaur painter of the same name, was important for continuing the nineteenth-century English watercolour tradition through much of the twentieth century. This is a fine and rare monograph dedicated to his life and work.
