Previously owned by one Bruce Howard, a close friend of Coetzee and head of Oak Tree Fine Press, a charitable publishing initiative set up in conjunction with the author. Signed on teh title page. The third of J. M. Coetzee’s fictionalized memoirs, this volume discusses his life in Cape Town in the 1970s. A wonderful first edition made all the more special with the inclusion of the author’s signature.
