Notes: Fine copy in quarter buckram and marbled boards in original fine plastic dustjacket contained in blue cloth slipcase.The original 1929 record of Facade is present in the pocket. This is copy number 452 of a limited edition of 1,000. Only the first 250 were specially bound and signed by the composer. However, this copy is inscribed on the limitation page ‘for Andrew Porter from William Walton March 29th 1972.’ Included is a press cutting of Porter’s article on Walton at 70 and a sheet of program notes. Superb association copy.
