First edition. Pierre Parisot (1697-1769) was a French missionary, Capuchin monk, and priest. He took several names, including Pere Norbert, Cure Parisot, Norbert de Bar-le-Duc, Norbert de Lorraine, or Abbe Platel. He opposed Jesuits and wrote against them in this book, exposing the methods in which they were obtaining conversions in Asia. Text in French.
