8vo., early nineteenth-century marbled calf with gilt-lettered red leather label to spine, gilt border decoration to spine and boards, pp. iv, 315. Hinges tender, binding extremities rubbed and slightly chipped, head of spine chipped, contemporary ownership inscription to title page (some of which is lost due to trimming, though the trimming does not effect the printed text itself and the margins are generally ample), worm damage visible in lower outer margin from front pastedown to p. 68; otherwise very good and clean. A rare example of this eighteenth-century Grand Tour publication.
