No date but circa 1899. 36 pages of advertisements at book’s end. “In this volume Robert Freke Gould who is best remembered for his massive six volume “History of Freemasonry, examines the history of Masonry as it relates to warfare and the military. With useful biographies of both Naval and Military freemasons, both British and foreign. It is interesting to see the extent that Freemasonry was embedded within 18th and 19th century armies.” Rare to find in its original first edition state.
