Only 525 copies printed, of which this is no. 86. Large 8vo, in militar green cloth, gilt title and decoration on the spine and gilt New Spalding Club emblem on front boards, xlix, li, 652 (continued numbering), 15, with 21 illustrated plates with guarding issues. Deckled edges, hand-made paper, ample margins. Important collection of documents regarding the Jacobite Revolt. Notwithstanding some minor flaws on the covers, this is a copy in overall excellent state of a scarce book.
